About Cousineau Chiropractic Life Center

Cousineau Chiropractic was established in 1975 to deliver quality chiropractic care to the downriver community. The most important aspect of our practice is the patient relationship. We strive to create a strong relationship with each of our patients by following one simple philosophy: treat others as you would want to be treated.

Our Patients

In order to fully benefit from chiropractic care, patients must work together with our doctors toward their healthcare goals. Ideally, the patient will view their health positively and believe their body can heal better without interference. The question we are most commonly asked is, “How long does chiropractic take to work?” The answer varies because each patient is different based on their condition. The best way to reach optimum health is for the patient to follow their specific care plan given by their doctor.

Our Vision

Our dream is for every person to be under wellness chiropractic care, expressing 100% health. We hope to one day realize this dream with continuing a strong patient/doctor relationship and working with the following purpose: “To give, to love, to serve out of abundance.”

Dr. C Asks some important questions of interest to Riverview residents - Chiropractor Riverview Dr. C Asks...

What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Riverview parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
